explorer and Setup
Mike,
Sounds like explorer is corrupted, try using a different browser (like try getting a friend to download NetScape for you). As far a a 3rd party kernel running, did you upgrade your OS from something different? Was that machine running UNIX or some other proprietary Windows OS? Are you maybe running a pirated copy of XP?
