Random Crashes =^\
Lately my comp has been having a lot of problems with programs crashing,
especially explorer... my latest crash occured as i was just browsing mp3s through the explorer...this is what it said: AppName: explorer.exe AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106 ModName: ntdll.dll ModVer: 5.1.2600.1106 Offset: 00002109 Does that mean anything to anyone?...what else do i need to include? (for the next time something crashes, for im sure it will) |

If they are random, check hardware. Reseat all components (ensure fully seated) If you have multiple sticks of memory try removing one stick at a time being sure not to go below Windows XP 64mb minimum. Check all fans and vents. Power supply always has a fan, CPU and video card sometimes have a fan. Try these: Run an updated virus scan. Run Disk Cleanup checking all boxes except "Compress old files" Run Defrag. If you have file sharing software such as Kazaa, disable it.
