Another Windows Update query

Microsoft provides links to articles to give general and too often overly vague descriptions of their updates; however, sometimes there is a link providing more technical details on an update. I'm not sure that I want Microsoft bloating network bandwidth and disk consumption to include every document applicable to every update. And I didn't suggest that. But is it too much to ask to have a one-line description of what a given update is fixing or changing, with a link to further information? Well yes, obviously it is. So instead, we get useless generic descriptions like "This update fixes issues in Windows." A useful one-liner would take no more bandwidth than the useless "descriptions" they send now. -- Stan Brown, Oak Road Systems, Tompkins County, New York, USA http://BrownMath.com/ http://OakRoadSystems.com/ Shikata ga nai... |
