During XP's initial setup, did you select the default "Upgrade" option =
or did you select the "New Installation" option? You should have selected the = default "Upgrade" option. If, for some reason, you selected the "New = Installation" option, then it is likely your personal files were overwritten. Sorry to hear = you did not create a "backup" before proceeding. --=20 Nicholas -------------------------------------------------------------------- "Mike" wrote in message: =20 ... | I installed Windows XP Pro over ME with out copying=20 | existing files in my documents,mp3's, etc. Is there ANY=20 | way of recovering those files?
