Default Warning message when printing

Can someone explain to me what's happening when I print, I
get the following warning in event viewer - system logs.
Type: Warning, Source: Print, Event ID: 20, Description:
Print driver CanoniR2200-3300 PS3 for Windows NT x86
Version-3 was added or updated files: (then a long list of
files that were updated appear). The printer is located on
a print server and all XP workstations get the error
message when someone prints. IS there anyway to stop this
from happening?

I can tell you what is happening, but not why! Each time the PC prints, it
checks to see if the drivers its using are the same as its used before. For
some reason I don't understand, it's finding updated drivers everytime.

Have you tried reinstalling the network printer on each XP PC?

What I did was install the print driver locally, delete
the printer, then find the printer on the network and
connect it again. I think after doing this it used the
driver on the local machine, not 100% sure yet, I'm going
to monitor the network over the next couple days. I'm
still investigating / researching.
