Thanks/Nitin No computer program will run when the computer is turned off. The Wake on Ring feature of a lot of motherboards will start the computer when the modem rings but this is too slow to allow the computer to answer the phone while the CNG tones are being sent. You need a fax machine for that purpose. You could also look into the features of multifunction printers to see whether a fax received by the built-in fax machine can be transferred to the computer at a later time. -- Earl F. Parrish |
