Default WinXP reinstall activation code request upon login

Hi everyone hope I can get some help on this issue I am
having.

I had to reinstall WIN XP. When it first ask for the
activation code I entered it. After the installation it
asked me for it again. I entered it and the PC stated it
was incorrect and logged me off.

I did enter safe mode and can see ALL of my old infomation
and desktop.

I ran Belvisa and can see the key code I entered first.
Now why is the PC saying the activation code is incorrect?

How do I get back in.

Troy

Which method did you use to reactivate Windows?
