Create a filter. Select a news server to include all subscribed
newsgroups on that server or select just one newsgroup to target that
one. Then, on the Thunderbird menu bar, select [Tools Message Filters].

First you say you do, and then you don't.
And then you say you will, but then won't.
You're undecided now, so what're you goin' to do?
From a 1950s song
That should be Donald Trump's theme song. He obviously
does not understand "commitment", whether it is about
policy or marriage.

Oops! You want to do this with SeaMonkey. The process is the same,
providing you have SeaMonkey's Mail & Newsgroups window open.

The newsgroup for Seamonkey is over at ---.
..-----------------------------------------'
'--- mozilla.support.seamonkey
(on Mozilla's non-peering NNTP server: news.mozilla.org, port 119)

Before posting there, look in Seamonkey to see if it lets you define
filters aka rules. Since Seamonkey adds a mail/newsgroups function not
present in Firefox, there should be some way to define your own filters.

Also see: https://www.seamonkey-project.org/community.

Create a message filter to delete those posts.

For instructions, look here in SeaMonkey help...

1. In SeaMonkey, go to: Help Help Contents
2. In the left pane of the help window, select:
Using Mail & Newsgroups Organising your Messages Creating Message Filters
