Default printer won't print

-----Original Message-----
Can't print from notpad. I'm getting a message "parallel
port might be malfunctioning." I have a Canon BJC2110
printer attached by a usb cable. Don't know what to try.
I've uninstalled port and reinstalled. Installed new
cartridges but that didn't work. I'm going to try
connecting my printer to another computer or using a
parallel cable with my computer.

Can anyone offer any other suggestions?
.
Might try going to printer properties then Details and

see if it says LPT1. If so, changed to USBPRN01 and click
apply. Hope that helps.
