Default authentication provider failed & Routing and Remote Access service terminated ???

I have two event log errors I can't seem to find info on. Assistance would
be greatly appreciated!

authentication provider failed
The currently configured authentication provider failed to load
and initialize successfully. The specified procedure could not
be found.

Service Control Manager:
The Routing and Remote Access service terminated with
service-specific error 127 (0x7F).
