Default windows media player

Hello. Help an idiot. I am running xp home ed. I have
the latest edition of windows media player. One day all
is well, i can go to sights, such as brownsville revial
and watch the services just fine....now, and i dont know
why...the video flashes. imagine watching a movie, and
blinking your eyes as fast as you can. i went in and
added buffer seconds from 5 to 30, no change. i have the
settings so the computer checks the connection speed. ( i
run using cable access). any suggestions at all? thanks
much.
