Default Drjve Letter Access lost with ME to XP upgrade

I have RecordNow 4.56 installed but I am not able to use

ME with Adaptec. Now with XP and RecordNow I have to
save it to a backup folder and then write it to the CD.

From My Computer, right click the CDRW drive and select Properties, then the
Recording Tab. Uncheck the Enable recording box to disable the native CD
burning software.

not able to use DLA. Any other suggestions...I'll try

No it doesn't show up on the start menu. When I right=20
clicked on the CD icon on the desktop shortcut I do not=20
get a context box with a line that states "use with=20
DLA"? Thanks for your suggestion...have any more?

It should have installed right after RecordNow. Does it=20

show up in your start menu? If you right click on the CD=20
writer icon does the context box have a line that=20
states "use with DLA"? Click on it. There is no window=20
that pops up when you use it. =20

You can buy the program from www.stompinc.com or=20

download the one for HP CD writers from HP. I use=20
RecordNow Max and DLA - they work. There is a new=20
version 4.5.

| Before upgrading form ME to XP I could backup to a CD=20
| directly by selecting the CD Drive. With ME I had=20

Adaptec=20
| Direct CD (not compatible with XP) and have=20

installed=20
HP=20
| RecordNow in its place. RecordNow will backup using=20
| Direct Letter Access but says it must be installed on=20

my=20
| computer. Should it be installed with XP. How do I=20

get=20
| it?
