Virus in Windows system32\cmd.exe
My anti-virus found a virus in this file but cannot clean
it and I can't delete it, and I'm not sure if I should delete it anyway. Is there anything I can do? |

Virus in Windows system32\cmd.exe
Greetings --
You don't want to keep those files. Cmd32.exe/System32.exe _are_ the worm; they're certainly not a valid WinXP system file. Pay particular attention to _all_ of the removal instructions: W32.Kwbot.C.Worm http://securityresponse.symantec.com...ot.c.worm.html Bruce Chambers Help us help you: http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html ---- You can have peace. Or you can have freedom. Don't ever count on having both at once. -- RAH "Tyler Morse" wrote in message ...
