Default Win XP does not recognize slave drive

I have installed a new master hard drive, using my old
hard drive as my slave. Win XP does not recognize the
old hard drive. I need to transfer data from the old
hard drive to the new one. Booting from the old hard
drive is not an option due to a software problem that
necessitated the new master.

Can anyone help?

How do I do that?

-----Original Message-----
Try installing it as Master on your Secondary IDE

Channel.
