Default Mouse & tablet problems

Win7 home premium - been having problems with my system losing input from my
mouse, a Logitech marble cordless mouse. I have a wacom tablet that seems to
take control from the mouse - tablet works fine, but the mouse is dead. I
had the same problem just after I install Win7 and I fixed it by going to
some setting screen and both worked fine together. The only problem now is
that I can't remember where the setting screen is that I used, only had to
check or uncheck a setting.
Been at this for a couple of hours looking for the checkbox, the system has
been restart a number of times, with and without the tablet plugged in.
