Default Ubuntu Server

I want to run my web server on Ubuntu. Is this the correct version:

http://www.ubuntu.com/

If so what the minimum systems requirement.

My Aborigine brothers would be happy if I give them a free server.

No, that's a web site, not a version of Ubuntu.

Oh yeah, it changes from "correct" version (based on unidentified
criteria) to system requirements that he is too lazy to go read for
himself.

My Aborigine brothers would be happy if I give them a free server.

They'd be happier if you leaved them alone.

Odd that a customer of Comcast (Galveston, TX hub) operating a publicly
accessible web server (which violates Comcast's TOS) should be concerned
about Aussie natives.

Not the Hot-Text that has been posting since Aug-2008.

ath.cx is owned by OpenDNS, not you. The OpenDNS-assigned hostname of
mynews.ath.cx has a rDNS of 98.198.178.144. This OpenDNS user is
operating a *leech* site; i.e., a forum-to-Usenet gateway to pretend his
forum is larger or even has a community of its own. Looks like a new
project hence the dearth of gatewayed posts and why he's new under this
"borrowed" moniker of the prior Hot-Text poster.

Now I have to figure out how to filter out yet another Usenet leech
site. Maybe it's just an archive (no posting allowed through the web
side). Nope, just checked. It lets you "write" posts using the
web-based forum to then leech into Usenet via a gateway. Crap, another
leech site dumping invalidly formatted web-based posts into Usenet.

Hmm, I wonder what AIOE's attitude is towards users pretending to
connect as clients to their NNTP server but actually operating a
forum-to-Usenet gateway to leech from/to Usenet for his pseudo-forums.
