Default Certificate of Authenticity

Hello people,
does anyone know if its possible to find the 25 digit
product key after having registered, then trying to
reinstall the operating system (xp home) a week later and
not having the certificate of authenticity sticker ? The
bloke who built my tower claims not to have it, and i
certainly dont ! Im wandering through the microsoft site
looking for a link to follow, but im failing miserably...
Ive got the hard drive set as slave in my old tower, it
doesnt do anything but then i dont know what im doing !
Thanks to anyone looking and not laughing too much.
Regards
Steve
