Default Media Center Problems

I've been working on a HP with Windows XP Media Center and lately its been
booting very slow. I ran bootvis.exe from Microsoft and noticed that a
service is taking 10 minutes to load, but when I turn off all the services
in msconfig I get no change. I know I haven't given much information, but
does anyone have any suggestions. Also, I've tired all the built-in
utilities in XP to no avail.
