Default LPT1 Printer Port

Previously, I was able to print to my HP4 printer, now I
do not see the LPT1 port in the Device Manager, and I
can't print to it. When I restart my computer, it finds
new hardware (Port). When I try to install the Port, I
receive an error message that "Access is Denied". Can
anyone help me? I need my printer and I do have the
correct HP4 driver for XP.

Go into the Bios and make sure the Port is enabled.
