Default UAC and Firefox

In an earlier thread someone posted that they were having a problem when
starting Firefox. I'm having the same problem and can't seem to get if
fixed.

Unless I have the UAC set to "Never Notify" I always get a message
asking if I want "Java(TM) SE Runtime etc" to make changes to this
computer.

In the earlier thread the solution posted was to de-select "Run as
Administrator" I tried that and still have the same problem. I've tried
it with my account set as Administrator and Standard User. As standard
user I have to type in an Admin PW to even start the program.

Any ideas on how to start FF without this problem occurring?

That was me - and I still haven't fixed it. Very irritating...

Know this sounds silly but have you uninstalled Firefox, restarted and
re-downloaded and re-installed Firefox?
