Default Windows Live Essentias Update KB2434419

I don't want to download and install Windows Live Essentials Update
KB2434419. How can I stop this from showing up and asking me to install.
I'd like to skip it permanently. I tried unchecking the block but it
still keeps coming back to tell me I have one update to install. I
installed it last week and didn't like the look of the Windows Mail program
so I did a restore to get rid of it on my computer. Thank you.

I think when you go to updates you can left click on it and then right click
on the item and select hide-update

While you can hide the update, it may update more than just Windows Mail. If
you don't have Windows Mail installed maybe you have some other live
essentials component installed which does need an update.

Go to Windows updates select Change Settings (left margin) In dropdown
menu select 'Download updates, but let me choose whether to install them'
OK. Then you are in charge. I find this ideal. It lets me update what I
want and at the same time Windows Live Essentials 2011 is left sitting there
without any fear of it being installed automatically.
