Default XP updates- everyday?

Hi Granpa,

Open system properties in the Control Panel, go to the Auto updates and =
disable it. Then reboot and turn it back on. You are likely receiving =
prompts to reinstall the same updates over and over.

I'm pretty new to this XP and this may be a stupid question=20
but does it sound right that there would be updates almost=20
daily? I just want to make sure that I'm not in an endless=20
cycle of installing the same info over and over. Thanks=20
Granpa
