my Administrator accoount disappeared
I opened a user account (don't know if it is connected),
afterwards I was told there is not administrator account so I opened a new one with another name. Now on the opening screen there is no Administrator only the new administrator account, but I found all the Administrator's stuff in c:/documents and settings. My question: is there a way to have this account back? many things were installed through it. Thanks, Ayelet |

Once you have created regular user accounts, the default Administrator =20
account vanishes from the Welcome screen, which you see when the = computer =20 starts up. Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete twice at the Welcome screen to retrieve = the =20 standard logon dialog. You can log on as Administrator from there.=20 Enable Administrator account on Welcome Screen http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts_desc/xp_admin_ok.htm --=20 Nicholas -------------------------------------------------------------------- "Ayelet Holder" wrote in message: =20 ... | I opened a user account (don't know if it is connected),=20 | afterwards I was told there is not administrator account=20 | so I opened a new one with another name. | Now on the opening screen there is no Administrator only=20 | the new administrator account, but I found all the=20 | Administrator's stuff in c:/documents and settings. | My question: is there a way to have this account back?=20 | many things were installed through it. | Thanks, | Ayelet |
