Default Problem detecting harddisk(primard slave) in "My computer"

Click on start then control panel then administrative
tools then computer management then storage then disk
management then right click on your new drive and click
on enable. I had the same problem but be aware XP does
not support more than 4 EIDE devices.
-----Original Message-----
Dear Friends,

1) My system runs on Pentium 3 and Windows XP.

2) My system contains a 1st harddisk(Primary Master).

Recently, I just
installed a 2nd harddisk(Primary Slave).

3) The system can detect my 2nd harddisk at the Computer

Hardware Manager.
However, I am not able to detect the 2nd harddisk icon

inside "My Computer"

Please help me solve this urgent problem.

Thanks alot,
Merrvyn
