Default cd rom not working

I was putting on a disk and while the disk door was
shutting, my daughter tried to stop it. It seemed to be
stuck for a second, then it went in. The game worked for
a little, then it stopped playing. Now none of the games
will work in the cd rom. It is telling me to insert the
disc when the disc is already inserted. I tried system
restore. Did not work. Could it be from the door jamming?
When I listen, it sounds like it is barely trying to run.
How can I fix this?
