Default Profile Startup Keyboard Help

For some reason when I start my profile the num key does not come on
defaultly, it comes on in the other profiles on the computer. I do alot of
data entry on my profile so it gets frustrating when you have to turn it on
alway. It started doing this about a week ago, so it didn't start when I
created the profile. I run XP Home. The type of computer shouldn't matter.
