Default CD RW won't write after formating.

1) If you have Media Player 9 with the cd burning utility
installed, it can casue conflicts
2) If all else fails, try ForceAspi
(http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cd...re/cdr_tools/f
rcaspi.cfm) it can fix this type of problem for you. Run
checkaspi (available on Adaptec's page) to see if it is
loaded properly, and what version is loaded.

Hope this helps.

-----Original Message-----
I am able to write to non-rewritable CD's fine (using
Windows XP CD Writing software builtin to XP). But I've
tried formating several new disc using "InCD's" writing
software but every time I place the CD RW in the Drive it
takes a long time for Window XP to read it. Then when I
click on folder for the CD RW I get a message that the
drive is not accessible.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated,
Bryon
.
