Default Modem too SLOW!

Have a US Robotics 5610B 56K modem. Should be running
faster, but only running in the low 30s. US Robotics Tech
Assist says the problem is with my XP Prof OS. Anyone out
there have any meaningful input. Thanks, Jim

Hello

It's your phone line, and not XP or not even your modem
also see if your provider provides you with number that support
56k, or v.92 speeds, but in the end it's your local phone company
NOT XP, AND NOT YOUR MODEM, you may have a lot of
trash on your line also

Alvin
