Default Printing labels under XP

I have a dot matrix printer to print labels. When I print
labels, I automatically get my label printed and lots of
empty labels. The printer think it is letter format paper.
How can I change a personnalized format of paper to my
printer under XP. I want the paper size to be 3.5 inch x 1
inch.

How to do that?

Thanks!
