Default Restart problem

I have a problem while restarting windows.

I have Hard disk WDC 120 GB and Hard disk WDC 80 GB
Each one is on indepented cable.

The problem is when trying to restart windows the both hard disk not shut
down in the same time.
I sent two e-mails to Intel Application Accelerator and WDC Support

Intel Application Accelerator:
He was sure that the problem is from my pc not from the application.
Told me about installing the application in the switch mode (somthing like
safe mode)
But not working, then he told me to check the cables good so i changed the
cables.

But not worked so i sent him a message again, he replied:

Unfortunately, there are no more troubleshooting steps to perform. The issue
you
are experiencing had not been reported to Intel previously. At this point,
it is
possible that third party software is causing a conflict with the Intel(R)
Application Accelerator, which is preventing the operating system from
booting
normally.

And WDC support said to me make a full hard disks check to be sure that you
hardware is healthy
I did so and every thing was ok.

So i decided to install the new OS to check the problem step by step.
I tried this before but was installing many applications before restarting
system.

So this time every application i installed i made a restart.

And this is the list of installation:

01-Inf install
02-Intel Application Accelerator
03-Catalyst 4.9 XP
04-Sound MAX
05-Realtek
06-USB 2.0
07-Alcatel USB DSL Modem
07-Intel Active Monitor

All this the system ok then started installed software.

All i installed untill now is:
01-Winrar 3.40
02-Norton AntiVirus 2005
03-ZoneAlarm Pro 5.1.033.000

At the restart the problem happened so i decided to post this post.
To See if you can help me out with this problem.

My both HardDisks are working on NTFS System with active partitions.
And the problem appeared when i installed SP2, There was no problem while
using SP1a so please help out with this problem and any info needed i will
be there.

Default Restart problem

Hi,

So uninstall each program in turn (the 3 you listed plus SP2), rebooting
inbetween. That should tell you which is conflicting with the system (and
I'm betting it's Norton's).
