Are "compressed folders" REALLY just ZIP's
If so, can I use a command line utility to generate any-old zip file and it
will work? Or is anything special needed? Maury |

Yes, compressed files under XP are basically ZIP files, and most file compression programs are compatible. For example, the PKZIP command line utility will work well with XP compressed files. -Reed MVP Shell/User |
