yabbut, what if you get struck by lightning or succumb to complications
from syphilis?

Thanks for sharing that ever so fascinating and relevant snapshot of

To get to Control Panels, type "control" in the Cortana search hole.
The item at the top should get you to control.

In the Power control panel, there should be a time interval
for screen blanking to cut in. You might want to set that
to zero, in an attempt to keep your screen running.

It's an alternative to some controls for the Screensaver itself.

Note that, the OS just loves to re-install video drivers.
If you haven't locked down driver installs, then you may find
the Power control for the screen, reverts to "do something"
after ten minutes. I call this "the curse of ten minutes".

Even some Microsoft troubleshooter I was using one day, put
up a snotty message "we noticed your screen blank time is
set too long, so we set if back to ten minutes". It's important
to know where your bread is buttered, and that the toast
will always fall, butter side down...

Good luck,
Paul

Yep, Carousel. Written by Jamie Zawinski; 2005.

Loads several random images, and displays them flying in a circular
formation. The formation changes speed and direction randomly, and images
periodically drop out to be replaced by new ones.
