I stall have keyboard trouble.
Win8 pro.
I have tried several keyboards, including some old 'clicky' ones, and in all cases the "@" symbol has swapped for the "'" one. I have tried all the different-language keyboard setups, but with no luck. This doesn't happen with Win7. Peter

It sounds as if something is messed up in the driver.

I've recently dug out one of my original IBM Model M keyboards; once in a blue moon I wish the keyboard did have a Windows key, which is odd given that I've spent the past 20 years largely ignoring the Windows key.
