I stall have keyboard trouble.
Win8 pro.
I have tried several keyboards, including some old 'clicky' ones, and in all cases the "@" symbol has swapped for the "'" one. I have tried all the different-language keyboard setups, but with no luck. This doesn't happen with Win7. Peter |

In the keyboard settings, remove everything except the one scheme you want. Done. -- Silver Slimer OpenMedia & Ubuntu Supporter www.silverlips.ca |

It sounds as if something is messed up in the driver. |

I've recently dug out one of my original IBM Model M keyboards; once in a blue moon I wish the keyboard did have a Windows key, which is odd given that I've spent the past 20 years largely ignoring the Windows key. |
