The physical address displays 00-00-00-00-00. What's
wrong?

That's what I get when typing ipconfig/all.

Sam,

Is the network card successfully installed? What do diagnostics say?

Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device Manager - Network adapters - (Find
your adapter in the list) - Properties - Device status - Use Troubleshoot if
necessary. There also might be a diagnostics utility provided by the vendor,
installed with drivers.
