Print Spooler Problem
Hi,
I am having a problem printing from my laptop (wireless and hard connected). The print spooler in running and I can 'see' all of my printers, but nothing will print. When I try to check the properties of any of my printers, I get an error mesage that sys "Printer properties cannot be displayed. The print spooler service is not running." However, I can run Task Manager or Services.msc, and both say the spooler is running. Does anyone know what the heck is going on here? I am about to pull what little hair I have left out. Thx -- Hangin'' on by a Thread! |

Print Spooler Problem
Let your hair be. Don't drink any more coffee for 8 hours.
Check the spooler directory and delete any files found there. Restart the machine and try printing again. If no success, delete all printers. Check the printer maker's web site(s) for drivers and clean-up utilities. DL them. Run any clean-up utilities. Install the driver for _one_ connected printer. Check printing.
