Device Manager Problems
I have a HP Pavillion xt878 computer and have installed
XP Home. I have checked the device manager and there are 2 devices with exclamation marks beside them. 1 is "MPU- 401 compatible MIDI Device" and the other is a "Standard Game Port". The MPU device states "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" and the Game Port states "This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12) If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system" There is another Standard Game Port Device in the Device manager that appears to be ok hoever this second Standard Game Port device is having a problem. I have tried to download many different drivers to solve this problem but nothing seems to work. I even went to the HP site and nothign there worked either. If anyone knows how to solve this problem I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Trevor |
