Default šno video capture is found

Hi!

My new computer want find the video captu:-( or the
camcorder capture.

I have a Win TV card:WinTV-PVR-250 card- with video in-
I use a analog videocamera with a yellow cable which is connected through
a small adapter to the WIN TV card/video in.
[btw the TV-card is just superb]

This works properly, but when I am using Pinnacle Studio this program will
not find the videocamera capture, nor will it find the devices for the TV
card.

In the system there is a yellow mark att "nvidia video capture"-
This was installed but I get the message that it wasnŽt properly and
it wonŽt work.

I have windows XP, 2.4 MHZ,WinTV-PVR-250 card- the graphic card is
Win Fast 3 D-A 280 TD. I have 728? MB memory and 240 GB.

This videocamera has worked on my win2000 and with the zoltrix TVcard
in my old computer and the video capture was found- but not in this new
computer.

I have read lots of helps in different forums but nothing helps-
I have aldo tried with different videocapture devices with the chip?
bt848 which seems to be the one my TVcard uses.

What videoediting program can be used instead of Pinncale. I like
Pinnacle, cause it is easy to use. Premiere seem to be a bit dfficult[for
me] to understand

Can anyone please help me!!
[urgent]

Regards from a cold Stockholm, in Sweden!

/christina
