Default homework/computer?

You are a total moron. The Internet is media no matter how stupid you
choose to remain. What does this mean?

Almost sounds like you're saying that you read it on the Internet so it must
be true. ;-) IMO it means the person who wrote it feels "the Internet" is a
blob, a cloud, a thing that comes into the house like cable TV. "The
Internet" is what's at the other end of that big phone cable coming out of
the wall.

Kinda true for explanations to non-tech people, but not true at all if you
know what's actually out there.

Mass media is a term used to denote a section of the media
specifically envisioned and designed to reach a very large audience
such as the population of a nation state.

There you go, the INTERNET doesn't have any content, it's the
servers that are on the "Internet".

Definition: Internet: a computer network consisting of a worldwide
network of computer networks that use the TCP/IP network protocols
to facilitate data transmission ...

The internet is the transport of MEDIA, but the internet is NOT
MEDIA.

Try this - remove all servers from connection to the internet, what
media do you have then?

You are a total moron. The Internet is media no matter how stupid

Your ignorance is astounding.

What does this mean?

"These Internet media may include:"

a.. Television
b.. Personal web pages
c.. Message boards
d.. Podcasts
e.. Blogs
f.. Video hosting services

And well it may, but it is media hosted on SERVERS, not on the
"Internet". The internet is the method to get to the MEDIA hosted on
Servers.

Without the servers hosting the MEDIA there none of that media would
exist, but the Internet would still be there.

Media is a network which includes TV, Newspapers, Personal web pages and so
on. You claimed TV was not media but you are wrong. The Internet is included
in this network. The contents on a server is media along with every part
that supports it. You will never admit you are wrong young man. This is
clear to see by now.

No, you're wrong and don't seem to GRASP the SIMPLE.

A TV (the box) is NOT media, neither are the air-waves, nor the
transmitters.

The MEDIA is the information stored on Film/Computer/Disk/Etc that is
sent/provided over the BOX.

The supporting hardware is NOT MEDIA, it's a network.

Nope again, you describe yourself. A wire is not media, but, the CONTENT
stored on a hard-drive, provided to users on the network, is media, but
the hard drive is not the media.

I was right about you from the

you will continue to have you head planted firmly up your ass.

And yet you show not a single understanding of hardware or networks or
the internet and have been shown time and time again that even your own
links prove your assertions wrong.

You are a total moron. The Internet is media no matter how stupid
you choose to remain. What does this mean?

Almost sounds like you're saying that you read it on the Internet
so it must be true. ;-) IMO it means the person who wrote it
feels "the Internet" is a blob, a cloud, a thing that comes into
the house like cable TV. "The Internet" is what's at the other
end of that big phone cable coming out of the wall.

Kinda true for explanations to non-tech people, but not true at
all if you know what's actually out there.

I was trying to find something simple to show the simpleton I was
responding to but he is beyond hope. He has been embarrassing
himself and by now would never admit he has been wrong.

You are the only person being embarrassed, you keep claiming that
the network is MEDIA and can't seem to grasp that the NETWORK is a
media transport layer, it holds NO MEDIA itself. The Servers HOLD
THE MEDIA, but the servers are not actually MEDIA either.

You are totally wrong as I pointed out in the above post. Media is a
medium.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Media

Media may refer to:
In communication:

a.. Media (communication), tools used to store and deliver
information or data

As pointed out above media can be a tool used to store and deliver
information. Thus a TV and the Internet are some of those tools.

Now do you get it or will you say that wikipedia is somehow wrong
and only you are right?

The "Internet" does not store or deliver information or data. The
servers that host the content store and deliver it, the internet is a
network.

According to your definition, the HDMI Cable is media, or my Speaker
cables are media, or my USB cable is media, but any person with any
knowledge of anything technical will confirm that the "Internet" is a
network and does not contain media, the servers ATTACHED to the
"Internet" contain and provide the media.

Here you go moron.
http://thesaurus.reference.com/browse/media

Main Entry: media
Part of Speech: noun
Definition: communication by publication or broadcast
Synonyms: announcement, announcing, cable, communications,
correspondence, disclosure, expression, intelligence, news, publishing,
radio, television

Cable IS media.

And you seem to be too young to understand what "Cable" is - bet you
never learned about cable communications - as in messages sent via
cable.

Have you ever heard of the term "off the wire"?

Go here and find where you can cank up what you say.

Give it up. You have been proven wrong consistently. Now be a man and
admit you have been wrong and get on with your pathetic life.

Again, each item you list above proves that the INTERNET is not media,
it is a path to MEDIA.

Read this part again:

Definition: communication by publication or broadcast
Synonyms: announcement, announcing, cable, communications,
correspondence, disclosure, expression, intelligence, news, publishing,
radio, television

Publication - media put to print/paper

Broadcast - media put to electronic signal seen/listened to on tv/radio
sets

Cable - as in media sent via telecommunications cable

etc....

You should study MEDIA a little before you make a bigger fool of
yourself.
