Default signature in outlook express

I am trying to create my own signature in outlook express. I want

it to have my name in cursive and a small picture from clipart. When
I try to make a new signature and hit, select a file. I continually
get the message * not a valid text file.
How can I make a valid text file, using Lucinda handwriting and

inserting a pic. I tried to make a small file in Paint, but it was
not a valid text file.... Can you help me? Is my question clear?

I never had any luck myself. If you can't find what you want to do,
check this site out.

That didn't really help. All I want to do is write two words, and insert one little pic..... How can I create a valid text file to display the signature?? Anyone know?

Hi,

Go to OE/Tools/Options/Compose/Stationary/Create New and follow the wizard.

ivanann,
You have created a "Stationery" file rather than just a signature
file... If you would
like full instructions on how to do what you asked in the first place, go to
my site
below and go to page 3 and hit the E Mail button on the left and ask me... I
was
going to put the instructions for sig files on the site but just haven't
gotten around
to it as yet... Let me know.

below and go to page 3 and hit the E Mail button on the left and ask me..

Uhmm, Burt....why should she have to do that? Why can't it be posted here?

A txt file is not difficult at all, but she wanted to add a picture and that
is the easiest way.

To add a Txt File:

Create a txt file (using notepad) say on your desktop.
Add the Signature Wanted.
Go to Tools/Options/Signature/New
Edit Signature/File/Browse to Txt File on desktop.
Set as Default.

Advanced/Select accordingly.
Signature Settings: Add sigs/Don't add sigs.

Done Deal.
