Default Windows search too slow in W7

Today I transfered a search utility called MasterSeeker1.5. Perhaps it isn't
the best official tool but it runs fast. You don't have to install nothing,
just run the executable file. One thing I don't like is it doesn't have a
certified digital signature, so I'm not sure if it is a good choice. What do
you think?

On it's not very well written website, it says it is by DxCK.

I looked this up on google.

English speakers may draw certain conclusions.

But I have never liked the Windows7 search function, so maybe it has
value.

"Everything" has proved a very good search program. I saw it recommended
in here some time back.

No offence, but I think you should try asking your question in another
newsgroup such as alt.windows7.general. ;-)

I agree. It's the best search tool I know of, if you want to search
for file names. But unfortunately it doesn't search the contents of
files, so I use a second tool, Agent Ransack, for those kinds of
searches.

And they are both free.

I'll have a look at Agent Ransack - it sounds useful.
