Duh! Look closely g

They're grouped together in that pic because that column is sorted
alphabetically by name(i.e. I comes after F in the alphabet).

Pretty funny...

There's probably another shoe waiting to fall :-)

Mainly because they know more than you do.

When a program has no icon of its own, Windows provides a default icon
(do you know the meaning of "default" in this context?), from its (i.e.
Windows's) own supply, which has *no* (i.e., not any) relationship to
the file.

Now you've done it. You'll have to have your headers posted. ;-)

I probably made a mistake, at least in semantics. Instead of "IMO", I
should've used something less likely to attract trolls. But of course
avoiding trolls is not entirely possible.

My quick check then said it's something like 3 out of 68 parts
adware. Still doesn't mean it's not Intel related, but the assumption
that it's the default icon combined with the fact that it's arranged
alphabetically very much suggests that it's not.

But I'm pretty sure any objective reader figured that stuff out many
posts ago, unless they think I'm almighty...

My guess is, you'll find this key present in the Registry (look
using "regedit")

HKLM\Software\Free_soft_today

The FST stands for Free_soft_today, the next two letters are the
country code. The numbers are likely a revision. Just a guess,
by looking at the only hit I could find that came close to
matching. Once I had the key name, I fed that back into the
search engine, and found this example.

http://forums.techguy.org/all-other-...9-removing-fst
-us-108-free.html

You can get Adwcleaner here. Do a scan and see what it finds.

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/

If it has something to do with "Free_soft_today" then it's
probably adware and not supposed to be there. At that point, I
would start searching by date (descending) my Macrium Reflect
backups until I found a clean one. If it were well known and very
simple to remove, maybe not, but I usually do it the thorough way.

No you don't make mistakes. Trolls are a nice bunch of people. without them these newsgroups would be dead with full of "Does" talking gibberish.

This post is best read in Rich Text HTML to appreciate the full richness of wonderful text.
