Default erratic behaviors on windows

Help! My computer is doing erratic behaviors like:
1. Scrolling up and down the window
2. closing all or some of the open browsers
3. clicking on the menus
4. opening other programs
5. clicking the start menu
6. the cursor moves around the screen

It’s like somebody else is controlling it. I tried running an anti-virus
program (Kaspersky, AVG) but nothing was found to be infecting my computer.

Last year when our files were missing and we found nothing on the virus
scan, we just reformatted our hard drive. And now, we’re having systems
slowdown again. What’s the best anti-virus you could recommend? Please help!

Jean

What are your anti-spyware arrangements?

I would try Spybot S & D -there is a freeware version buried in this
link:

Hope this helps.

Thanks, my cursor doesn't move around the screen anymore and my computer
runs faster now!!!

Before, the erratic behaviors triggered on its own then I noticed it stops
for a while when I don't move the mouse frequently and so I tried moving
the mouse rarely and slowly, avoiding pointing at the menus, start button,
minimize(maximize, close) buttons, etc. The problem still persisted but it
minimized the interruption of my downloads.

I've run the Trend Micro Sysclean and Spybot S&D (after so many attempts of
downloading it because it always has an error: "the file is corrupted or
source file cannot be read" even if I've downloaded from its official
website).

Thanks again for your help!
