Default Remote Procedure Call (RPC)

-----Original Message-----
My PC keeps closing down and restarting due to an RPC
error. When I checked in system configuration utilities
under Services Tab I found 2 copies of RPC - both
stopped. Can someone please tell me how to remove one of
these copies. Thanks.
.
try this, control panel, network connections, local are

connection, properties, advanced, then click on firewall.
all you have to do now is download the patch from windows
that will eradicate this. it is a worm that someone has
sent over the internet to annoy the worl who is linked to
the computer. i strongly advise that you get yourself
norton or something.
