Messed up %ProgramFiles%

Hi group.

Somewhere along in my installation of Win-8.1 (x64, Intel-I7),
the location of "%ProgramFiles%" seems to got messed up. Because
now I do have these folders (+ %CommonProgramFiles%) duplicated
on 2 partitions:
"C:\Program Files" !! note: in English
"C:\Program Files\Common Files"
and
"F:\ProgramFiler" !! in Norwegian
"F:\ProgramFiler\Common Files"

Is this normal? It's making me a bit anxious since there are
now duplicated in those 2 "Common Files".

It's strange. Did you install any program in F: partition and changed the
default folder name "Program Files" to "Program Filer"? If those folder are
empty you can delete them.

"f:\ProgramFiler" (note no space) is Norwegian for "c:\Program Files".
Seems to me the Win-8 install created the English default folder before
it realised my install should be in Norwegian. And no, I don't think I
changed the folder name. I wish this could

IExplorer, PowerShell and other crap. I can live with the situation,
but would like to move those over to "f:\ProgramFiler". Seems some
Access-control, WOW64 thing or Registry setting is not allowing me.

And I hate spaces in dirs.

BTW. In my 4nt shell, 'set Prog' returns:
ProgramFiles=f:\Programfiler
ProgramFiles(x86)=f:\Programfiler-x86

But in cmd (when lanched from WinKey-R), 'set Prog' returns:
ProgramData=C:\ProgramData
ProgramFiles=C:\Program Files
ProgramFiles(x86)=f:\Programfiler-x86
ProgramW6432=C:\Program Files

Looks a little bit messed. As a basic user I don't need to control or put
data files in system's folders, I'm happy when things work, I think I
understand your feelings. You can hide the Norwegian folders just to look
nice.
