Vaio win 8.1
another pic as you can not print scr. for this one.
This happens with monotonous regularity most often after closing the lid
without shutting down, but not necessarily can happen any time on boot.
Is it connected to Synaptic touchpad driver?
Have tried installing latest driver but I may be doing it wrong.

If not the driver I have often seen this as a result of overheating or
a bad memory chip.

There is a long long thread here, and the respondent who
analyses the dumps has left for greener pastures.

http://social.technet.microsoft.com/...w8itprogeneral

If it happens on closing the lid, that's a state change to
sleep or hibernate. And means for some reason, the driver
is not happy when asked to change states. In Device Manager,
do track pads have a setting to wake the computer ? Perhaps
that can be disabled or something.

The message on the screen, likely gives about as much
info as you could expect from a regular .dmp file. Nirsoft
BlueScreenView is a program that displays the trace in
the .dmp file. I don't know if this driver verifier idea
gives human readable bread crumbs we could use or not.
Since so many people managed to generate the info
Andre wanted in that thread, the process must be pretty simple.

I also thought it funny, when Andre announced in December he
would no longer analyse dumps, people kept posting them
until June :-) I guess they were praying for a miracle or something.

Have a read here, as it appears you are not the only one with this problem:
