Well I have given Win 8.1 a fair trial. It did not pass muster so it
will become history as soon as I have the time is clean it off the
computer. Money not well spent. /shrug/

If you manage to clean it all off successfully, let us know. I have a PC
purchased with Win8.1 resident, and I'd just love to clear it all away
and put Win7 on it.

Thanks so much for sharing.

This is just about the last message I'll be reading tonight, and you've
got me going out with a hearty belly laugh!

It would be nice what he found so egregious about Windows 8.1.

What difference does it make?
From my general reading, I would guess one or more of the following:

o Bloated resource hog on older hardware.
o Metro interface ok on a cell phone, but sucks on a desk top.
o Lots of UI changes with a long learning curve that adds no new
functionality, safety or reliability.
o The utter offensiveness of trying to foist it on a customer.
o etc. etc. That should cover most of it.

And here's they "man" we can thank for it

I would not worry about him, as worked up as he is and at the rate he is
going he is going to have a heart attack soon.

If you're interested in selling your license for half of the purchased
price, I might take it off of your hands.

The easiest way to remove anything from a HD is to bootb up with a
windows 7 disc and just delete or format the partition(s)
