Default Linksys Ethernet Adapters

I have Windows XP Pro and have a Linksys LNE100TX(v5)
Fast Ethernet Adapter installed...but my computer shows
it as an LNE100TX(v4). I have tried numerous ways to
change it, but Windows XP refuses to change the LAN
card. Any suggestions and ideas would be greatly
appreciated.

If it's working, leave it alone. If it's not, what have you tried?
Deleting it and letting Windows redetect it? Downloading the latest driver
and clicking the Update Driver button?
