Default Saving updates

I need to have my hard disc reformatted, again. I have
most of the updates on my pc. How can I save them to a
cd, I cannot find them on my hard drive.

You cannot do it that way, The update site has a "Catalog" area that will
download savable exe files of the updates.

HELP & SUPPORT. Click on Keep Your Computer Up to Date...

At the left, click on Windows Update Catalog, then choose one of the two
options at the right, and your operating system. Then click SEARCH.

Finally, click on a category for a list of updates that can be saved to disk.
