Default Windows XP Login Problems

We have Windows XP prof, when I try to Login as a user, It says " Loading
your Personal settings, then right away it says " Logging off " followed by
Saving your settings.

No matter what I login as, Administrator or backdoor user for IT purpose.

The Last thing user says he did was ran Ad-Aware Software.

Can you get into Safe Mode? If so, what do your event logs say about the
last logon attempt?
