What is the deal with build numbers? I have 3 windows 10 computers and all
report the updates are current but they all have different build numbers. -- Bill Brought to you from Anchorage, Alaska |

OS_Version.BuildNumber 10240.xxx 10586.xxx 14393.xxx Anniversarty Edition 15063.xxx Creator The .xxx part changes with security updates or rollups You'll have to post the "winver" numbers from each machine, if you expect comments on how important the issue is to resolve. Usually, for large divergence on numbers, it means the lower-numbered machine probably has "plugged plumbing". I've had to reset Windows Update only once so far, to get my Win10 out of an otherwise unresolvable update loop. Paul |

Build Numbers
I did not think they were going to start updating to Creator until April
11th. They updated my 10 pro yesterday. I was going to try and block this for a while but I am to late. I need to go back and look at the other ones. -- Bill "Paul" wrote in message news Bill Bradshaw wrote: What is the deal with build numbers?
